These sound very realistic. Did you learn this from a reliable source?reugenev wrote:Saltsburg’s three options: 1. Drop football. 2. Co-op with Blairsville for football. 3. Find a new league.
Re: RE: Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
I think you're underestimating how stubborn anybody associated with Saltsburg is. #3 isn't an option - nowhere else is easier than the Heritage; they would never accept #2 because of my first sentence. That leaves #1 or #4 - fake it 'til you make it.reugenev wrote:Saltsburg’s three options: 1. Drop football. 2. Co-op with Blairsville for football. 3. Find a new league.

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
Isn't option 1 and option 2 the same. If they drop football, and a kid from Saltsburg wants to play football, he will go to Balirsville since they are in the same school district.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
Birda, the Westpac is definitely easier and would be a good option for the Trojans.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
No, they fit just fine in the Heritage. They're 1-3 and the only game they weren't competitive in was because they didn't play it. Also, their closest game in the WestPAC would be 40 miles away to Nanty Glo. Every other game is an hour drive. Going to Blairsville is the best option. It's a short drive and the Bobcats can use the numbers.
If only closed minds came with closed mouths
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
Finding a new league isn't the solution for a single A school already playing in a mostly single A league.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 5
School board will determine Saltsburg football team future at their meeting on October 23.
