North Star by 8 over CT in the D-5AA finals
first off, officiating was poor at this game. Multiple Phantom calls. IT is ok to make a wrong call but you just can't call something that wasn't there.
It also was a sloppily played game. both teams did a lot of standing around. It was exciting at the end though.
Rockwood girls game also exciting at end with buzzer beater.

officiating i dont think was too bad ... they had some "ify" calls, but both ways ... it didnt seem to favor one team or the other... i was pleased with the reffing in the game and thought maybe some made up calls, none more for one team than the other ... so overall i thought it was a well officiated game
You're right but I just felt that they were trying to hard to make their presence felt. Blew the whistle way too much. I didn't really enjoy watching that game. Shubik was off and Byer had trouble scoring but he did a heck of a job distributing the ball.
I was impressed with Risch. Is that Steve Risch's little brother??

That was tom risch. He doesnt have an older brother. I heard from multiple people that there were some terrible calls at the game, even the our coach was telling us in class he thought that some of the calls were terrible. Granted, everyone makes mistakes, thats understandable, but from what I heard they made more then most.
