my post was in reference to forest hills being in the top 3 aa schools in the state. i don't think so! they have 4 studs in baxter, valko, moss and kissel but that does not make a team. you have to be fairly strong at every weight with several studs to be one of the top teams in the stateand they are weak at 5 weight classes, next years team will be weaker than this years team and then the bottom falls out for them the following year. watch out for tyrone!

Tyrone will be stout, and have a full lineup;a team to keep an eye on in AA will be West Branch-they return a boatload of better than average kids plus Owens and Clark. They may push their way into the top 2 or 3 in D-6

You might want to keep an eye open for Southern Huntingdon also. They are only losing 1 senior and he didnt wrestle most of the year. So they might make alil noise again this new season.

gumboots- mosgrove i believe wrestled for somerset not meyersdale. d'con is a junior this year. berlin is graduating darr, lorson, taylor, and cramer will be graduating from rockwood. i think they also return webreck but im not sure. i believe meyersdale has some returning talent but will only have 2 seniors next year so they will be young but might come on stronger than you think. their jr. high team did well and will have a few coming up to varsity next year. north star has a great jr. high and pee wee program so i expect them to be note-worthy for a few years to come. doesnt wade and ritchey graduate this year?

Quite right Cube. Ritchey was only a sophomore this year. He looks to capture 3 district titles and put himself among an elite crowd. However, in addition to losing Wade Grimes, Everett loses one other starter in Bill Lamens. Let me just also mention another Everett senior who you didn't see on the mat because the quality of Everett's upperweights: Garrett Shipley was indeed a great addition to the practice room; a first year kid but certainly could grapple; definitely helped the guys train, it was ashame there wasn't a spot for him.

But I hope with some intense summer training, Everett will improve yet another step from the vast improvements they have already made in the past two years. In watching the team this year, I've learned what 'The Everett Style' is and if you yourself haven't noticed: they can ride top better than anyone, but they stink on their feet. So this summer, I look to drag the boys into the room and improve on the one much needed element.

Nave, Brambley and Ritchey should lead the pack, with improvements from Felton, Grube and Conrad to make a fine addition to the team. Those along with some Jr. High additions should make for another competitive Everett squad. Maybe not district contenders, but we will be there some day, I promise.

sorry bud we dont wrestle tussey in regular season um other than neville i dont know of any one up there but that team is pretty tough so you guys must b doin somehting right oh yeah i wrestled vaughn too his record doesnt show it but hes a descent kid but i weighed 21 and wrestled 32 at the bedford tourney so that may have had a factor

i also forgot about nave cramer and kilgore all very geat wrestlers in my own opinion sory

yes mosgrove does wreslte for somerset but the only other wrestlers on myersdales team that showed me anything was houston and murray two young wrestlers but there junior high has no big names. granted you dont need to have a big name to be a good wreslter. look at froelich you probably never heard of him. hes pretty gay but he made second team for CT as a no-name sophmore
