Bison, I would say according to teams making the tourney and teams in the final 4, the Big10 boasts the best competition. They still hold the record for most teams in, 7(more than once), and most teams in the final 4 over the past 10 years.

Sports99999999, in the last 10 years the ACC had 4 teams in the championship game and having the champion in '01 and '02. While the Big10 has had 2 teams in the final match-up and only getting the win in 2000 (where the acc had a final four team as well)
The big10 is not more competitive year in and year out than the ACC.
I usually enjoy reading your posts as most times they're very intelligent. Not sure what's driving this post?

w/ 3 acc teams, 3 big "Least" teams, 3 big 12 teams, 2 sec teams, 2 a-10 teams, 1 c-usa team, 1 big ten team, and 1 nevada making up the sweet sixteen, the quality has risen to the top, and lo' and behold, the almighty acc has as many teams left as 2 other conferences. looks like the dreams of the all acc final four are shattered. one can also figure that at least 1 of the 3 acc teams left, wake forest, duke, and ga tech, will fall on the way to a possible yet unprobable final four of 3 acc teams.
big least my foot.

Fiction. And if I would have known Wake Forest was the third one remaining, I would have said that long ago, before they got knocked off. But Georgia Tech and Duke made it, and they could both make it to the finals. However, I think a UConn and Oklahoma State final is probably more likely.
