I'm thinking UConn and Okie State in the finals here. But who knows? Xavier played a fabulous game and had Duke on their toes the whole time. And I think that if Myles could have stayed out of foul trouble, that Xavier might be going to the Final Four rather than Duke. That was when the game really started going Duke's way, was right after Myles got fouled out. But then, since it happened, we'll never know, will we? But they played a heck of a game, and kept it tied or pretty close the entire time. Duke never led by more than 6 points at any point during the game, and I was rather disappointed that Xavier lost. This is the first time in the tourney that Duke hasn't scored over 70 points on a team, and also the first time that they won with a spread in the single digits. Xavier did very very well, and proved that they deserved to be in this tournament.

Just a little stat for those of you who read them. Myles had 16 pts and 10 rebounds in 13 minutes of play...
Just think how important those last 12 minutes would have been if he were in the game

Auctually Bison1 it was 23 minutes of play... not 13. Also, who knows what would have happened had Myles not fouled out. No one likes to see Duke win so I almost expect to hear the excuses after each and every Blue Devil victory.

On the contrary i think the fouls being called were what was keeping Xavier in the game. Every touch foul was being called and slowed down the game. At the 13 min mark of the second half Xavier was in the bonus and with 8 mins left they were in the double bonus. The fouls were the main factor in the game being so close. Hopefully the same crew isnt working in San Antonio.
This is off subject but did anybody see the end of the Tennessee Baylor womens game??? Talk about a terrible foul call with 0.2 seconds left in a tie ball game.
