Yeah I agree as well....as everybody already mentioned, Ridge is looking good this year. But what about Bedford...I know they are supposed to be doing pretty good with Roy's pitching but I haven't heard much on how their season is coming along so far or what their record is. Anyone know this info?

Bedford was 3-0 today before their doubleheader with BG--I don't know what happened there today. All the talk is about Roy--but Salas is a great pitcher also. Bedford's whole team is definitely comparable to Ridge's. Should be an excellent matchup.

Question.
How many freshman are on the teams that CR plays against?
Are there any CR freshman playing on the JV or Varsity squads?
Keep up the good work slaw.

Most of the teams have prolly 5-6 experienced freshman players.
No freshman moved up to Varsity--Ridge still does not have a JV squad.
And finally--thanks.

with bedford loosing to BG, i'd say Ridge is the team to beat now. i'm not saying that it will be an absolute sweep of everything. but they're the only undefeated team left. Mike Godissart pitches Friday against Tussey, so hopefully he does well and we can pick it up hitting and fielding.

Bedford will still be a tough team though--the loss may have mentally made them tougher than they were before.
Claysburg has a decent team, though Ridge shut them out in two matchups, they were probably one of the better teams we've faced this year.
I heard a few people mentioning how nice of a season Forbes Road is having (compared to what they were last year). I heard they ten-runned Claysburg.
If Goddisart gets the start on Friday he will have to hit the strike zone and keep the ball out of the wheelhouse. He neesd to give the fielders a chance--Ridge's defense is definitely not a weak spot.
