where else can you find that many seamen in one spot

HAHA, i wondered how long it would be till someone said seamen, little less than 2400 hrs.

I would have to say the Marine Corps, My Uncle and my Pap were both in the Marines!

packerfan, im not offended by ur opinions...i was simply stating that the seals are a very small percent of the Navy and do not symbolize the entire branch. the whole reason i started this topic is to find out other peoples views and if i find something that omits a few details, then i too am going to voice my opinion...no hard feelings tho

From what I've heard, the army has more choices as far as education and such while you are in the service. Something to look into I'm sure.

In the past the Marines have been the elite fighting unit.

In the future I beleive we will grow to rely on the Coast Guard as a source for security.
