As I said, I'm not bothered that much by Bedford winning. What bothers me is the attitude of various Bedford track runners on here, that they are the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. I don't mind confidence. But this has gone way beyond confidence to sheer cockiness. That's what bothers me. And if it weren't for that, I wouldn't care if Bedford does go undefeated. But because they have an attitude, I'm hoping somebody like Somerset or Forest Hills really schools them.

Gunner, I'll actually agree with you there. On a different note, the weather tonight was awful. I was pleased with my two mile time, considering it was run in the worst conditions possible. I guess an 11:33 something isn't too bad for sleet and hail.
The sportsmanship of many of the runners was nice though. I talked a bit with Arne before the two mile, and there was actually a Bedford guy at the start of the 300 hurdles cheering me on a bit. That was pretty cool, really. Who was that guy, just out of curiousity? I'm horrible with names, but I know that I know him.

OUCH! im hurt w/ that comment, had it not been for the Gunner, bedford would have lost to forest hills last season! i also earned us a 1 1/2 points because i found flaws in the ridge score keeper tonite. to say im not part of the team is perhaps the meanest thing anyones ever said to me, wow

Bedford's track teams are very good this year. Especially the boys. But some do strut around like a bunch of peacocks! I got news for them, they aren't the best Bedford Boys track that I have seen in my tenure. The 1990 team was better by a long shot and most had more class. Don't believe me just ask Coach Creps'
