Wrestlers" The best kind of people in the world. The cockiest,dirtiest, most irresponisble group of athletes in the universe. Will get with any broad and come back and tell all his buddies about it. Will booze at least 2 times a week and pretend they are still dedicated. Not afraid to live the dream untill they are 35 then realize they never made it anywhere. Ladies Love us. Guys want to be us. nbc vs. chestnut ridge tonight was pretty exciting in both aspects.
the nb girls had a great comeback win with a late goal by becky shaffer to tie the game at 2 and another by shaffer to win the game for the lady panthers in OT. ridge seemed to control the game but the panthers came back tough after halftime. a few ridge girls were injured which gave even more momentum to the lady panthers.
the nb guys dominated the boys from ridge tonight with a score of 6-3. the panthers were led by matt shaffron, Sebastian the German beast, the hagelberger twins, all-everything mr. oberman, and the young giant keeper in Scott Suiters. the nb squad put on a clinic against a very good chestnut ridge team that has nothing to be ashamed of tonight. for ridge, fred wolfe, brad zembower, and wes furry put on a good performance towards the front attack. Scott Suiters stopped everything that was put on goal, pretty sure that kid's size doubled this year and he's 16. i think the kid has been working out all summer and his punts travel 3/4 of the field. the score was 5-1 and northern decided to put in the back-up goalie to get some time in and the ridge boys decided to press hard and scored two more but northern's attack just could not be stopped. a first game hat-trick was added to nb by matt shaffron. this ridge team is pretty good this year too but i would have to warn other teams to watch out for the boys from nb this year, they are very smart, skilled, and determined to beat last year's record.
to note: officiating at these games tonight was quite poor tonight between no calls on about 20 hand balls, and calls that were made for no apparent reason
