I'll take Northern Bedford, but by no more than one touchdown. I also think that the NBC defense will save the day for the Panthers, as I hear that the Bulldogs have a tough D, and the Panthers don't have an impressive offense.

My view would be:
With Claysburg:
-CLaysburg is going to have Doroba back; which will bring their team back to full strength.
-Iachini has proven to be just as good running back as McIntyre, which makes for a tougher defense to cover the one then the other (differnet styles of running)
-Weyandt back as a reciever just opens up more for the offense to go with.
-It is tough to contain Leslie under a hundred yards, JV was the only other team to do it.
-Claar will be in the face of NB's QB every play.
-Garlick is always a threat for a field goal. 8)
With Northern:
-Donaldson will be back, but Weber has proved to be as good a running back, which makes for a tougher defense to contain either one.
-Rodland and Kagarise will pull down passed , it doesn't matter who throws them.
-Stapleton will run over you, or carry you down the field for ten yards at a clip.
-special teams has kept them in the game quite a few times (Dallas/ Houston)
-Oberman is always a threat for a field goal. 8)
The KEY to Victory:
-With this game is going to be the offensive lines. Which ever team can open the holes for the backs, and protect the QB, will be the key.
-Stategy of the coaches, two great coaching staffs here, they need to be a step ahead of the other (this will be tough).
The game in itself will be worth the price of admission.
SCORE:
well that depends (see the above mentioned factors) 8)

Alright, Claysburg is definatly a running team. I believe they would be better off with Weyendt, with the fake runs, and then have Tyler keep it and scramble. That boy definatly has wheels. I believe they will still stick to the running game with Doroba back anyway.
If Northern comes to play, I'm going with claysburg up 13-7 at half and then NBC comes back with a 24-20 win.

I'm PRETTY sure that Doroba won't be back for the remainder of the season. I think Claysburg will be fine with Weyandt at the QB position..I was impressed with his ability..Also, Leslie, Iachini, Mcintyre and Claar are very impressive.
I haven't Seen NB play but heard they are tough too, should be a good one

Ck 21 NB 0. Considering NB went into OT twice with two weak teams is not very impressive. JV had an off game against the panthers.

Momoftwo. Good point but let me throw this at you. Comparing NBC went overtime twice with weaker teams. Claysburg beat Everett by a touchdown and so did NBC. CLaysburg beat Tussey by three TD's and NBC did win in overtime against them. Juniata Valley 52-6 over Claysburg and NBC got beat 21-7 basically shutting down Valley in the second half. Just some food for thought.

well i guess we will just have to wait and see the outcome of this game...it will deffinately be worth the price of admission as someone already stated...and motheroftwo that is no way to look at a game any one team could win at any time...

previous games mean nothing, just look at this weeks GOW in the LHAC, McCort vs. Jtown...McCort losses a tight one to bishop carroll and pounds westmont, where as johnstown lost a tight one to westmont and pounded carroll....on any given friday...
