ESPN said last night that all 3 hadn't lost in the same day since '78.

Well, I've stroked Miami all year long being very confident they would run the table in the ACC and win the national championship. UNC put a very abrupt halt to that.. Its unbelievable how before the Lousiville game the U's defense SCORED more points than they let up, and lets up over 500 yards to Louisville AND UNC, and the run D wasnt super impressive last week against NC State.

Trev Alberts said it best, Miami doesnt play well unless they feel challanged, and simply overlooked UNC. It's really a shame because they are without a doubt the best team in the country every year, and when they lose (which isnt very often) its always to a lower caliber team. Now Duran is a fantastic qb, and Chad Scott played a phenominal game at running back, but still, it's inexcusable to lose to North Carolina. Hopefully the Canes will regroup and roll to a BCS game.

As for FSU.. I'm lost for words. Not that Maryland is a bad team, which they definatly arent, but they havent been playing at the level they should have. In this case, it's not better late than never, as a win over a program with the talent of FSU is tainted by losses to ugly teams earlier in the season.

And finally, Florida had every reason in the world to win this game. Their coach could prove to the Gator hierarchy he didnt deserve his firing (not to mention put on a show for future job oppertunities), his players were playing "For Coach Zook", and they still lose to a team they beat 13 out of the past 14 years. That goes to show the right move was made in Gainesville, and when Mr Spurrier makes his return tears will stain the cheeks of the entire South Eastern Conference as Florida will no longer be a pushover.
