obviously psu hasnt been doing real well but if you think its gonna stay this way then you arent realy as intelligent as i thought. the last time pitt had a realy genuinely good team vcr's were just coming on the market,,,boot cut wranglers were the pant of choice,,"porky's" was a hit movie and "eye of the tiger" by survivior was a number 1 song.. yep,,its been a while!!

goodbuddy, are you saying this Pitt team isn't any good? I'm glad you think a team playing in a BCS Bowl isn't any good. I think they'll prove you wrong. I guarantee they cover the spread against Utah. I wouldn't even be surprised if they came out on top.

Yes "no good" teams can play in BCS bowls (ref. a 4 loss Flordia State team several years ago) which is why the BCS, thanks to the AP poll, is headed to the ash-heap of NCAA history.

this year's pitt team is not THAT good. they are not what i think of as BCS good. they are decent. they are better than penn state but not by much. no way will pitt beat utah.
i hate to go off topic here, but PENN STATE GOT THE #1 RECRUIT IN THE LAND YESTERDAY!!!

i didnt say pitt isnt any good. they are a good team. they arent a real good dominant team. pitt hasnt had a team like that since the early 80's. psu hasnt had one for 10 years either

Does anyone think that DWill's signing will deter others from signing at PSU? I'm sure when Morelli verballed to Pitt, other QB recruits looked elsewhere. You know, kind of an intimidation factor. And since no one is 100% sure what position DWill will play, others may shy away and look elsewhere. His signing will not necessarily bring in others.
