I definately think that Ben is a great assett to the team. And, I think that Brian is a little over-rated, yes over-rated. he is a good player no doubt about that, but he isn't the best player ever. Everyone seems to think that he is God's gift to basketball. Ben is a great athlete who hustles and playes out the entire game, Brian is a lazy player who I don't think gives it much effort. Ben was very impressive last night with 26 points and 5 three pointers. Props to Ben.

the other players weren't making their shots and rebounding was poor... they played hard... just not hard enough

Yes, it sucks that the lions lost, but it was good to see someone other than Brian scoring the most point. It just goes to show you that there is more to the team than Brian. Ben should be given a lot of credit for the game last night. He had 15 points just in the last quarter. That is saying something.

I still dont get why everybody piles on Brian. Frankly, I would like to have had him on my sons team out here in MI. He would fit right in.

oh... so your sons team is full of lazy people? that's too bad... but yea i guess brian would fit in out there... why can't people accept the fact that there are other good players on the team? this thread is about ben but ya'll still manage to twist it back to brian... stick to the topic please... that is ben by the way

Dawg, everyone piles on Brian because he gets attention that he doesn't always deserve. Don't get me wrong I like Brian, but I think it is a little rediculous that everything in Chestnut Ridge basketball has to do with Brian. He is a good player and all, but once again, he isn't the best. All these people on here talking up Brian are all his friends, and of course they are going to say nice things, but that doesn't make them all true. Brian is a lazy player, takes a shot, starts going the other way and he doesn't hustle up and down the court. The other players on the team need credited. The are all good hustlers. Let me tell you something, Ben is a great player, a lot of skill and very athletic. He is very quick, he moves well and he hustles. That is what you need on the team. Nobody ever notices that though do they? No. They still try their best to talk Brian up. Everything comes back to Brian having the all time scoring record at the school. Well guess what, that record was broken once, and it can be broken again. I think that Ben deserves a lot of credit for what he gives the team. Brian is a ball hog, never wanting to pass the ball. Yes it is good to take the shots, but when there are 2-3 guys on you, pass the ball, don't take the shot. That is one of the most noticable things about Ben, he definately passes the ball around waiting for the shot, and if he can't get it he will pass it to someone who can. Ben is a good player so don't take anything away from him. I think he will go far.

I didnt bring Brian up in here, someone else did.

Any time you want to send Brian west let me know. We will put add his name to the roster. Its to bad that he doesnt get appreciated.

What you see from Brian on the court has more to do with game organization and management then his decision making.
