I would imagine its a combination of both. If you're a really fast person (like the guys who run all over the mighty ranger football team) why not run track, not lose a meet in a couple years, and win state medals. If the track team and baseball team were unbeatable it would be quite a feat. I also dont think it helps that the baseball team is made up of 4 seniors, 6 juniors, and 11 sophomores. Four of the sophomores being starters.

Yes, and a few more of the sophomores see playing time depending on who is pitching or what the situation is.

Cap'n: You know I was just having a chuckle at your expense, right? Yes your fallball players run over around and through us Rangers. We do have some classic matchups through the years though, don't we? On a getting-back-to-the-topic note, last evening the Rangers beat BC 10-0 in 5, and tonight, with the benefit of 4 double plays, beat Cam. Hts. 3-1.

Ricky Roberts is making quite an impact at Richland. He has the Rams doing things that most fans have never saw in Cedar's 8 million year tenure at Richland.

Friday should be a good matchup between Richland and FH.

I would give the advantage to Richland, I don't think the Rangers as a team swing the bat too well.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Just drove by FH's field a little bit ago and the score was FH 10, Richland 1 in the 5th. What was that about FH's bats? Of course, maybe Richland can't field and FH got 10 unearned runs. Who knows?

Moldo- Almost right. 11-1 in 5 innings. Mehall tosses 3 hitter, 2 by Freshour. Unfortunately for the Rams, neither He, nor Rick Roberts could throw against us last night. The hitting wasn't overpowering, just timely. And you are right, you don't have to hit much when the Rams commit 7 errors. Not too much support for Josh Szelong, who didn't pitch that bad. New top dog in the LHAC.

According to Coach Sidor in today's Tribune, Richland "just finished playing 5 games in 7 days and were a little bit tired."
