I ment the team title. We don't have a lot of girls, at least, seated very high.

but you girls have alot to place 4th 5th and 6th even if you don't have a district champ so it will get interesting come districts!
but good luck!

Yes, it sounds silly, but the depth is what wins you a district title. I remember two years ago when Bedford won districts, they only had two first place finishers, Emily Clark and Johnna Bardell. Last year, they had a lot more first places and came in second. Berlin had a lot of first places last year, 7 to be exact, however we also had a LOT of depth. We went 1-2 in the 100, 1-4 in the 1600, 1-6 in the 3200, 1-3 in Jav, and had someone place in every event but the 800, shot put, and high jump. Its not necessarily the team with the most stud performers...its the ones that can go out there in how the most events and get your team points.

Derrick Harris improved on his long jump mark today vs. Somerset and Bishop Carroll with a jump of 22'4". With the jump, Harris broke his own school record.

yeah the only person in front of harris in the state right now is westy's kanuch!
but yeah we had some good performers at districts from nbc boys last year but we didn't have a large team so we got i think 5th or 6th last year!
