American Idol..Bo or Carrie?

I'm not necessarily sharing my contempt for Christians, just stating something that I believe to make sense. I'm sure there were some Christians making noise over Scott still being on there, but it doesn't seem to be enough to have made a difference. With Frenchy, for better or for worse, there were probably more people upset.

This isn't just a Christian double standard though, it is an American double standard. We are so hung up on sex, but violence is somewhat old hat to us. So sex gets the blood boiling more than violence, at least in this country.

As far as the actual idol, I don't know who to vote for, as both are very good performers. However, with Carrie's performance last night, I think she'll win.

I would be surprised if American Idol is on the top 10 list of very many Christians shows that they watch.

CRDawg, I think Idol is the most watched show, but you might be right on that one... Carrie put forth a great effort to win, and it certainly was a great competition. Here's the kicker: I don't believe that Carrie has ever had any voice lessons or training. That great voice is all natural...

The only thing that peeved me, as I already expressed, was Scott making it so far, after having heard that he hit his gf, and not having any great singing talent anyways. He should have gone at least 2 or 3 weeks before he did, but it's the way it goes. Nonetheless, I think Bo, Carrie, Vonzell, and Anthony will almost all certainly get contracts, as well as perhaps Constantine, Anwar, Jessica, and Scott.....

I agree with you about Scott. He really has a chip on his shoulder. He has a nice voice and is talented. Its that Eminem attitude that needs checked at the door. He should be thankful his girlfriend didnt bop him.
