Well, looking at the schedule, there are two Big East games that will determine the Cardinals season. Those games are at West Virginia, and at home against Pittsburgh. Neither one of those games is gimmes, but I think that Louisville will play hard in the games that matter, and win all of them. Pitt may be undefeated heading into the game against Louisville, but I think they'll lose, since the Cardinals will have home field. If it was at Pitt, I don't know if Louisville could pull it. But it isn't. And at West Virginia will be interesting, but WVU isn't good enough to beat Louisville if the Cardinals come to play. Even at home.

UNC may be an interesting game, but it's at Louisville, and the Tar Heels are about a 7-4 team this year. Not quite enough. Oregon State should have beaten LSU last year, but I think that was more of a fluke type game. OSU lost to the Cardinals last year, and again, at Louisville, they don't have too much of a chance.

UK and UC are both rivalry type games, but neither team has anywhere near the firepower to pull an upset on this team. I think UL beat UC last year to the tune of 70-7, and UK isn't much better. If they were halfway decent, I'd say look out, but there's no way.

So I maintain my prediction that the Cardinals will go undefeated, and if they don't, at the very least they will win the Big East.

If Louisville loses to Pitt, then Pitt will have to lose 2 other games to Big East opponents for Louisville to win the conference. If both have one loss, Pitt would get the conference title because of head to head results.

That's true. The Pitt-Louisville game will be for the Big East title, in all likelihood, and if they lose to Pitt, they lose the Big East. But if they lose, chances are, it will be a team that Louisville overlooks, like Syracuse.

I'm not hating on Pitt, but Louisville wins that game by 3 touchdowns. I think Pitt is honestly in for a rough year, and they may only lose 2-3 games, but the team will not be as good. They will win 8-9 games playing a weak schedule.

I think you're right TAE. Pitt will definitely lose 3 games this season. That prediction looks good if Pitt doesn't lose the rest of the year.
