Just a squib away from being 7-0. Wasn't that a no-brainer? Plus the defense has to make a freaking play at the end, right?
I'd say they're realistically 17 or 18.
Can't wait to read Rudel tomorrow.

I don't want to hear about officiating. Michigan's DE was tackled on Robinson's crucial 4th down conversion.
What about Henne's fumble that wasn't a fumble?
Also, even Jack Ham questioned the pass interference call that gave PSU first and goal inside the 5.

Figures all the spit fans are trying to say that PSU sucks, after they lost their first game of the season. Let's not forget they won 6 before that, one against a highly touted Ohio State team.
Let's not forget that Pitt got spanked by one Ohio defensive back that single handedly outscored them. Let's not forget that Pitt lost to Rutgers. Rutgers!!!! Let's not forget that Pittsburgh sucks!! So before you go dissing PSU for being 6-1 rather than 7-0, why don't you diss your beloved Pitt Panthers, that play in the Big Weak, for being 3-4.

You guys are something else. Pitt did lose to Ohio. But today, Penn State snatched defeat from victory. That's got to hurt more. Pitt's loss was disappointing, BUT YOURS HURT. At least I could sleep after the Pitt loss. Nighty night guys.

Heaven, there were bad calls both ways, just I like said twice already. And that pass interference WAS a pass interference, as was every time Hall contacted a PSU receiver, which was about 6 times. He's a dirty player. And Avant DID catch that ball out of bounds. That's 17 yards, dude, on the final drive. Call it making excuses all you want, but that kid's foot was out of bounds. I guess you covered your ears when Jack Ham mentioned that one.
I for one will not sleep fine. I am extremely pissed off, and have been since the end of that game. When PSU loses, it ruins the next few days for me. Maybe that's me taking it too seriously, but Penn State football was a large part of me growing up. I get angry when I see bad routes, bad officiating, missed FG's, undisciplined linemen, fumbles, picks, missed tackles, blown coverages, piss-poor coverage fundamentals, bad offensive play-calling in key situations, piss-poor special teams work, and asinine redzone defenses that leave a 15 yard gap open in the middle of the end zone. But hey, that's just me.

TAE points out the pass caught out of bounds. Where was the replay? The officals replayed Norwood's pass he trapped but not a 17 yard completion that was clearly out of bounds. I don't want to even get into the two extra seconds!

It's called homefield advantage!! There was no question he was out of bounds on that pass. I don't really even understand how the refs would need instant replay on that one.

The college rule states that the receiver needs to get one foot inbounds for the catch to be legal. The replay clearlyshowed that the ball of the receiver's left foot came down cleanly inbounds then his heel came down out of bounds. GOOD CATCH by rule!
That is no different than a receiver dragging his foot on a catch. On both of these scenarios, only the toes are in bounds.
No PSU fan has brought up Henne's fumble when his knee was down.
