bdftbllham- If you think its so pointless, then why post? You're obviously just wasting your time. These are just predictions on what COULD happen IF they did happen to meet....People want to see what others think could go down.. Not read about airplanes and how pointless you think discussing it may be!

Why post? Because I find it funny that people are talking about possible match-ups, even when they more than likely won't happen. When is the Ridge and Bedford match this year?

ok so were do you think kensinger or miller will be if they arent at 171? kensinger wont make 160 again this year. so he wrestles miller at 171 or advoids him and wrestles 189. so bdftbllham why wouldnt there be a matchup???

hyndman,
Kensinger will be at 160 again. And if he's at 171, Miller will bump up to wrestle someone else. We'll never seen a Kensinger/Miller match-up in the regular season. You can write that down right now.
beingjustme,
thanks.

Since Kensinger is 160, and this whole talk is about how it would be a good matchup with Kensinger/Miller...and bdftbllham is sayin it won't happen...
how about Kensinger/Pecora from richland??
-any suggestions on this one?

That would be a very good match. Has Pacora gotten that big? Wasn't he at like 140 last year?

Pecora is a good wrestler. Was he a freshman last year? One year of experience is a lot. He could add at least 10 wins to his record if he was a freshman last year. He has a great coach in his dad, whom coaches for UPJ. I would take Pecora at this point. However, no wrestling has been done at this point. That's what is great about wrestling. It's all in what you've done in the offseason at some point.

Yeah, Marco in my book was the best freshman last year. He went 30-8 (i think) and a ref last year at districts ruined his season. He had Sunderland of Southern Huntington on his back, stacked for 20 seconds...referee didn't award pecora the fall, and with a little over a minute remaining in the match, pecora was winning 9-8, and Sunderland (who was currently 30-0, took 8th in the state), threw pecora out of bounds and landed right on his shoulder. Pecora couldn't continue to wrestle, and had to default out of Districts.
Saying this, Pecora is a tough 10th grader, who I feel will be on the state medal stand this year... Pecora gained a lot of experiance last year as a freshman at a weight that he was, beating names like Dan Golias, Arnie Bernard, and almost beating the late Craig Sheehan.
Due to this, Pecora in my opinion would be able to beat Kensinger, I don't care how many counters he has in his books, even if he si a defenseive wrestler, Pecora has a lot of offense, is excellent on his feet, can get up off the bottom, and I don't know many wrestlers around that can ride better legs than Pecora.... Hopefully these two will match up, fans would really get their moneys worth for this one!

Any freshman wrestling at varsity is bound to be good, or he wouldnt be up there. So besides the afore mentioned kids, what other area wrestlers at these upperweights should be good to watch?
