Montgomery vs. Rommel, eh? You could have used a better example than that. Go look and see how many troops it took Montgomery to use to beat a very depleted Africa Korps. They dumped so many supplies and men into Africa that there was no chance Rommel could win. Smart move, but did Montgomery really deserve all the credit? Rommel did well against these forces even when they showed up in Africa. It's not like Montgomery was some genius.

Isn't playing a 5th year senior at QB tantamount to being a BIG advantage over a freshman QB? Isn't having all those all-conference players the same thing?
