According to Rivals, as of yesterday, PSU has not even offered Fields a scholarship. He will take an official visit to Morgantown this wekend.

No one cares about a team that is playing that D1AA powerhouse Youngstown State

In the past 10 years:

Pitt: 4 IAA schools scheduled

98: Villanova
01: East Tenn. State
04: Furman
05 Youngstown State

WVU: 3 IAA schools scheduled

02: Tenn. Chattanoga
04: Madison
05: Wofford

PSU: 0 IAA schools

Something tells me that PSU won't make it quite the habit that other "powers" have.

As long as Temple comes to town, who needs I-AA schools

Fields may not end up at either place: issue with grades. Maybe prep ala McCoy.

If I'm not mistaken this will be Temple's first year in the MAC.

Obviously Pitt needs them. Wasn't their only victory in September against a IAA school?

Does it really matter that Temple was in the Big East a couple of years ago? They were 0-11 this past year and PSU jumped on them for their 12th game in 3 of the next 4 years.
