Weren't you the one who preached baby steps? One brick at a time, it's going up.

The babysteps idea only works for teams who genuinely want to do well and win a national title. Teams who make coaching changes and adjustments, you know, to do better. Not teams who hire guys who nothing but failures on their resume and keep assistant coaches who clearly have no idea what they are doing.

Pitt's defensive coordinator must be the same one the Bears had this past weekend. I mean, Steve Smith only had about 100 yards receiving in the first quarter. But they stayed in one-on-one coverage. Funny how the Cowboys bottled Smith up completely, shut him down, and frustrated him so bad that he got ejected, before his team lost to Dallas. That's called "making adjustments when the gameplan doesn't work". It's really a novel idea.

Maybe Dallas just ran faster and tackled good.

one year does not constite getting rolled every year retard! what happened in 04' ? pitt beat wvu's sorry butt and played in the bcs game.

"Playing" would lead people to believe they competed.

the point is wvu won one bowl game in 12 or 13 chances, one successful season does not make a dynasty.and an average pitt team pimped them the very year before.
