The Missori Valley Conference got 4 teams in and 2 of them are going to the sweet 16. That might not seem overly impressive but they had low seeds 7 and 13 so that makes their trip a lot more difficult than say Big Ten teams that have high seeds and play not as good teams. They are turning into a powerful conference.

I would like to congratulate Pitt on dumping their second round game to Bradley yesterday.
For the Panthers that #2 game of competition has been quite troublesome for this Athletic school year. I believe Ohio was the second game of the season for Pitt football, and Bradley was the second game of the tournament for the Panthers.
In both cases, the Panthers were likely caught looking forward to the next opponent instead of focusing on the task at hand

By conference:
Big East - 4 teams
ACC, Pac-10, SEC, MVC - 2
C-USA, West Coast, CAA, Big 12 - 1
Big 10 with the BIG 0. Not really much to argue about.
