When was the last time Michigan, Michigan St., or Penn St. played for the national title or won it? I would think the SEC has Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, and the list goes on for teams that are national contenders every year!

tennesee auburn lsu florida all great teams i do agree i just believe if you look at these teams and their defenses they have the ability 2 defeat these teams on the big stage.they may not be as flashy on offense but what wins a game defense. just my opinion.

Oh ok but the only team that will ever play for the big one in the Big 10 is Ohio State, they are by far the best team in the Big 10 year in and year out now!! Michigan too but have choked lately!

If you would ask what conference has the toughest teams I would say the SEC but if you were to ask what is the better overall conference I would say the Big Ten.
