jeastin89...

Myersdale definitely has the best athletes in the Westpac. This current group of players has put Myersdale on the map over the course of the past couple years in more than just football.

On the same note, this group of athletes at Mdale has not shown the ability to win the big game.

On the other hand...Windber surely has...and history tends to repeat it's self.

Ramblers by 2 scores.

agreed...it's surprising what confidence and experience at winning will do for you. WPIAL teams are an excellent example of this.
HOWEVER...if Meyersdale goes into this game with that attitude, and has DISCIPLINE, they probably have a good shot at the upset. I was a little quick to jump on your comment. Windber is hands-down the best disciplined team in the WestPac, but even they have breakdowns. You remember when ol' Windber was going for no. 50? Good luck!

Although Windber is known for their discipline, if anybody watched their game with portage you all saw their stupid penalties and also their fumbles. I do not believe that they are as disciplined as they have been in the past.

Thanks BisonLine74, Although many people doubted us and most wanted us to get beat like bmaniac08 we ened up winning a hard fought game. Plowtruck67 was dominated all game and I know this because he is my left guard haha. Bmaniac is mad because we dug them a 27 foot grave early in the season.

Hersch63, I have to agree with you that it was a hard fought game until the very end. We both have very good teams that have equal expectation. Hopefully there will be another one here soon in the playoffs......good job and Good Luck against Portage

They're called intangibles. Little things that can help you win or lose a game. The intangible for this game was the Windber LOGO in the middle of the field. Forsaking the FH at Somerset game this week, I took in the game at Windber on Friday night. Sitting on the Windber side, you could see a BIG W painted in the middle of the field. The only problem with that was, from the visitor side of the field, you saw a BIG M. I'm firmly convinced that when the Meyersdale fans, coaches and players saw that BIG M in the middle of the field, they got pumped up enough to beat the home team. That's how I saw it.
