Who is the better team?
Re: Who is the better team?
If Windber is officially Single A, then why shouldn't they just play Single A?

Re: Who is the better team?
this game is won by the crushers....their line has dominated every game...even week 1....they held the trojans to 150 (reed 36 yds rushing) offensive yards...and jtown is stacked...when mccort plays pc in the playoffs, it will be a fantastic game...that is if fh doesnt beat one of them first...mccort desrved to win vs FH...altho they won on a last minute td pass...the game was theirs...they out played FH all game...and to any critic saying "FH gets better as the season goes on" ...welll mccort does too...esp. this season...they look unbeatable right now...we'll see come week 12/13...

I agree with Dfense here…McCort does seem to be getting better this year. They do look unbeatable right now…at least by any team in the LHAC. They appear to be ready to notch their first LHAC crown and 2nd D6 title.
Forest Hills on the other hand is reeling. Credit Penn Cambria last week as they made the adjustments and plays to beat FH.
Breakdown of the FH/PC game:
FH came out in a 6-1...and Shope shutdown Holsberger in the First Quarter. Forest Hills had a chance to put the game away early but turned the ball over. If they score and go up 3 scores…the game is probably over.
Fetzer made the adjustment on offense and starting attacking the FH parameter. PC basically used 3 plays all night that killed Forest Hills. They were using a play fake, which froze Shope, then either running off tackle, or hitting a simple out pattern in the flats. The safety was late getting there, then they hit that a few times and then run an out an up when the FH safety flew up to stop the out.
Forest Hills took away Holsberger on offense, but PC took advantage of what FH did and FH didn’t make adjustments.
Defensively, Rearick didn’t play safety in the first half which hurt., and FH lost Ricky Gelles (FH’s #2 receiver and starting Cornerback) to injury.
On Defense PC basically used the same game plan that McCort used in 2003 against FH. Their end flew outside which contained Rearick on his sprint outs, then they blitzed up the middle and chased Rearick from the backside. Losing Gelles really hurts FH offensively too because it allows teams to double Carpenter and cover whoever else puts out at WR man up.
Dfense wins games was also right about another thing. Forest Hills usually does pride themselves on getting better as the season goes on. This year that has not been the case. The Rangers have played very poorly the last two weeks, and if they can’t solve their containment problems and fix their secondary issues they might not beat Johnstown next week either.
Besides all of that, it appears that the Rangers have been hardly playing “Ranger football”. Guys are walking around on the field, fighting amongst themselves, and showing no emotion. This FH team has the capability of being a good football team, but they have a lot of work to do if they hope to come close to making it to Altoona.
BTW...Right now McCort is the best team in the LHAC. If BM and PC played...
McCort by 2 TD's

Re: Who is the better team?
what does PCs passing game look like? opinion u said they threw out patterns most of the game...but are the capable of the long ball? and do they have athletic, fast recievers of just real good hands guys?
j/w because i think to beat mccort they would have to air it out...because running wouldnt seem to be that successful...
