I'm not going to take anything away from the Westy kids - they came back & won that game & deserved the win. And it was a great HS BBall game. as I've said they are very good, well coached & play 'together'. Their 3 guards are excellent players & they get production from 3 other 'role' players & they play very good defense but there was a big but in that game. BM did have advantage of playing @ home & they played very well in 1st half.....McCort got no help from zebras.....
West. had 3 total files each half??? I don't know if certain refs cave due to constant complaining of coach & certain vocal fans but there were West. fouls all over the place not called. Early in game M Varga was fouled regularly as he possessed the ball...In 2nd half Z Boyd was pushed/bodied (away from ball) several times that should have been whistled. I'm sorry, officials did a poor job!

i agree, the refs did suck. thats what u get when mccort administrators hire refs. however, i would say that the "zebras" as u call them, did not favor westmont one bit. i attended the game if that helps. in fact, it was the complete opposite. in the first half, i can recall at least half a dozen or more instances where westmont kids whould drive to the hoop and get obviously foulded. sometimes they made the shot, other times they didn't, but needless to say, the refs acted like nothing happened. as well, apperently they don't know what charges are either, they missed about 4 or 5 of them. but o well, it just proves that westmont can win no matter what, even during a home reffing job.

Maybe there should be 4 refs per game instead of 3. Imagine years ago when there were only 2.

Maybe its a physical sport and fouls happen and refs cant call everything, all fans know all refs arent any good so get over it folks game over, McCort needs to get it back on track if they wanna get that D6 medal. But we shall see.
