Yea! Hershey is a nice venue. Especially after they took it out of the oldest building in North America :lol:

I guess travel distance will be just a tad shorter for us Western half Folks ? I'll miss what we had in Hershey, simply because it was routine to go to the same hotels, the chocolate sights, The Gilligans sports Bar at nights, etc....

After all the years going there. I wonder how many Eastern fans will travel away from their back yards ? I knew a bunch of buddies from out there. I hope they continue to go the those games.

I always cheer for the Western teams Especially if they are representing District #5/6, which doesn't happen too much...

Now! I'll have to find a new motel, watering hole, & something to do.

I think after the three year time slot, The games will end back into Hershey, Pa. There's way too much money on the line to give up...

Nice writeup in the Sports section of the T-D today about Westy's undefeated season. I was scratching my head after Monday's game got all of about four lines on Tuesday, but great job with the article today. What a great bunch of kids who really know how to play as a team.

Ok with Westmont sitting undefeated at 24-0 and CC coming off of its worst loss of the year to WH last wednesday, is anyone giving the devils a chance at reversing fortune and spoiling the undefeated season before district playoffs?

There's always that chance. That's why we play, the play-offs...

Westmont just has too many good shooters. If you catch them on their bad day & C.C. plays exceptionaly well Yes! It can happen...

The {foul line} is a big stickler this time of the year too...

i heard gowen's not playing this time around, does anyone know if that's the truth? if it is true and not just a ploy, that could put a damper on the devils chances of a win.

Why isn't he playing?

Gowen has had a ankle problem for the last half of the season. It was rumored as a stress fracture, and is getting progressively worse. I dont know how he has been able to play on it for so long, but you could def. tell he wasnt the same against Westy. Even though he had a respectable 13 and 10, he wasnt getting same amount of elevation that he usually gets, plus he was limping the entire game, why Traino kept him in is beyond me.

Thoughts on him playing this weekend, doubtful. Why play in a game that doesnt effect the outcome of the season and hurt yourself more the playoffs???

True, especially when they are heavy underdogs even if he did play. Hopefully he is ready for the playoffs though. If not it would be a shame for the kid and the team.

from what ive seen this year gowen scores. nothin more. soft on d. no crashin boards. not physical. gowan does give CC scoring i give u that. but the taylor kid that should step in for him isnt bad. theyll miss gowan for sure. but dont think he is the whole team there.
