Everett boys had to beat Winder and Tussey Mountain back in 1995 to win the District V Boys Basketball Championship game at UPJ. And they had to beat Winder in overtime to make it to the DV Championship game against Tussey. Everett Boys Basketball Team has not won District V since 1995. It has been awhile and would've been nice to see them win it. I played in 95 and wanted to go to UPJ to see Everett win the title. And Batzel, in his own right, is a great coach. Hard to beat a Bailey coached team. But, it is possible.
