Interesting that you bring that up, becuase myself an CR coach were discussing this during the finals. He made the comment that he thought the NBC fans were a lot worse than the CR fans and I had to disagree. NBC fans are very energetic but most are not rude. Less can be said for CR fans. It wasn't 10 minutes later that he agreed with me after a CR student stood up behind us screaming obscenities (and the most vulgar ones at that) and spraying us with a shower of spit.
If you want to cheer, go ahead. If you want to do the ol' NBC clap, be my guest. I don't even mind yelling to a ref for "2" or "stalling". But no one should be screaming words of disrespect or booing. Do me a favor and if this is a problem of yours, take someone along with you who will smack you in the back of the head when you do such foolish things.

You have got to like what the NBC fans bring to the table. A lot of enthusiasm, not only on the post season trail but throughout the entire haul. Thanks 4him for relating what you have observed.

So because of the actions of one the whole CR section is bad? I don't think that is what you meant but it could be intepreted that way. All county schools have a good fan base but also some that go over the line. It is futile to compare one school's fan base to another as all have mostly good fans and a few "chuckleheads".

I was sitting behind the NBC fans and they do have a lot of enthusiasm. They also think they deserve every break. Poor Beach, he probably got crucified when he went home.
I would also agree that some of the CR fans are a little over the top.
I also believe it was Lance Clark from Everett after he lost to Brennan Corle who came into the stands and was using some pretty bad language about the match and the refs and the CR coaches and wrestlers. Maybe he should not have gave that little fist pump with 13 seconds to go in the match.

I'm surprised they didn't crucify him after he reffed the Ridge/NB dual meet. I'll bet his dad and brother have shunned him from the family. LOL
There is no way if I was him that I would've done that match for what $55?

Bosshog. I wasn't going to reply but I here I am. your comment about kicking them out of the league I am assuming you mean football the ICC. FYI at the meeting NBC representatives voted for Ridge to stay in the ICC for football. Ridge had 2 votes for them to stay. NBC was one of the votes for them to stay. Again just an FYI. Sorry I no this isn't a football thread but I wanted to clarify that.
Re: Some of the more interesting things at districts...
Not a football thread, but its my understanding that Everrett voting for them to stay. Tussey mountian "Abstained" from voting and NBC voted CR out. To be continued... in August

My bad. I checked my information. NBC abstained. Everett voted for them to stay. Reason NB voted abstain was the AD from NB is the chief acting officer of the ICC. I can assure you though if he wasn't in that acting position he would of voted for them to stay. I as a fan am going to miss seeing Ridge play Claysburg, Everett and NBC. My bad saying NB voted for them to stay but I know they wanted them to stay but couldn't vote holding this position.
Re: Some of the more interesting things at districts...
That sounds more accurate. i'm sure that will be debated in due time..
I was also informed today that an NS fan got ejected @ districts so that probably awards them as the worst fans of D5 for about 6 years running now. lol
As for the Ridge student fans, any of them yelling obscenities should have been ejected as well. All of the D5 wrestlers work so hard, no of them deserve that.
As for NBC they are certainly energetic. When Chesney beat Mort, the Black and Grey was so loud it was deafing. Which is great! But they the way they complain about calls is terrible. I often wonder if they are even watching the match.
