Ya ya Boris Karloff, he played in horror movies but that was like 20 years ago man, seriously you must be like 50 now. And how can you compare him to Jack Loya, that isn't even close.

Whatever NS is going to be the D5 champs of 2006-2007.

The Karloff/Loya thing was close enough to make me nearly fall out of my chair laughing! N.Star may pull out the win and Loya may be a good coach but don't think because he coached The Fighting Stenographers of Cambria Rowe Business College or whoever to the Conemaugh River Valley Business College Conference Title that he is in a class with Bailey.

I'll be the first to admit it here. I didn't think N.S. had the guns to put Tussey Mt. down    But they found a way. I didn't go to the game, but it must have been a good one to watch

I would have loved to check Coach Bailey's blood preasure with about 1 minute to play in the game...

May both teams go out & represent District #5 well

The Chops.... 8)

Well i was right on my prediction and what a game it was. It was close the whole time, neither team had more than a five point lead at any time. Tussey lead the whle game until the end when NS made a big run at he end of the third and another at the end of the fourth to take their first lead of the game. Tussey Mountain tried to make it to the basket most of the game but was shut down by NS's zone. They really brought a new game with them. They shot frm the outside and were hitting. Their defnse really stpped up also but NS was very smart with th ball and was able t make it to the basket which really sent Bailey ecstatic. Like i said earlier NS had to control the boards to win adn that is exactly what they did. They limited Tussey to one shot and gave themselves 2-3 shots each tim down. What hurt NS though was they missed a ton of layups and also missed a good share of fould shots which would of really opened up a lead for them. NS is a team that gave a chance for everyone on the eam to scorea dn they all did. I give a lot of props to the sophomore Alijiah who hit the two free throws at the nd of the gam to sell the score at 46-45.

The only reason i defended Jack Loya is because i know him personally. I am Dave Kavar the senior center for NS. You can call me cocky or i haev a big head for what i said but i had a great amount of confidence that we wer going to win, and we backed it up. I hope this doesn't present any dishatred towards anyone but hey somebody had to defend to NS, because nobdy else was. We were the underdogs and have been all season, and we won.

I would like to throw a shout ut to Tussey Mountain who is the bst team w playd all season and making the best D5 game i ever watched or played in. You all are a great group of guys who work extremely hard and i wish you the best of luck in the playoffs and also in furture years. I wouls also like to say congratul;ations to Westmont i know all of the starters on that team somewhat well from playing in the keyston games and also baseball. Balog, Stevenso, and watson you guys have been playing together forever and it all paid off, you guys are the best of the best, congrats.

Speaking of playoffs NS plays Beaver Falls in their first round of inter-district play, which i will be th first to say they will be lucky to end the gam within 30 points.
