Judging by RU's success in hoops, I think the Stillers' should draft some nap........... Nah, let's not go there. On the real, I feel Mr Harrison #92 has been the best back up lb in the whole league for last couple of yrs..
Remember his play(s) vs SD 2 yrs ago....I believe his pick & subsequent int. return (when he hurdled LT) made the cover of SI! I think we'll be fine with him in starting lineup!! I look for the best O lineman available to be our first pick & wouldn't be surprised if we trade down, to garner another pick & still get a suitable lineman.

Yeah, you must have watched a different game, because I saw Michigan State hand-deliver that game. I guess Brady Quinn is responsible for that MSU kid kneeling the ball on the 10 yard line?

Brady Quinn sure did help ND break the 9 game bowl game losing streak.... NOT.

He blew vs. Ohio State in '05
He blew vs. LSU in '06
He'll blow for whatever poor butt NFL team picks him up and decides to "build a program" around.

Jimmy Clausen for 10 straight in '07 baby!

...and 11 in '08
...and 12 in '09

No love for Clausen?????
He's going to rewrite the record books & reach such heights that they'll actually name a pickle after him when his ND career is finished!!!!

what was that one guy that was known for choking in the big game...oh yeah...peyton manning...

what was tha tone guy that was known for game-winning drives and not blowing the big gam...oh yeah...tom brady...

now its way too early to compare him to these two future hall of famers, but things that happen in the past dont mean they will happen in the future...i think he is a solid pick for this years draft...his td-int ratio was 6-1...and thats with 4? picks to michigan

btw...everyone on here says "football is a team sport"...and yet your singling him out as if he lost them the season...he helped get them to where they were at...just not far enough

the msu game was great but the ucla was awesome...yeah everyone forgot about tht game winning drive that brady put together...

now lets get off of quinn's back and talk some more draft...

what do ya think of adrian peterson? best running back in the draft, but the greatest gamble??

Brady Quinn will be a garbage QB in the NFL just like Russell will be. There's about 5 players worth taking out of these supposed first rounders:

Joe Thomas
Adrian Peterson
Calvin Johnson
Adam Carriker
Darrelle Revis
Patrick Willis

Everybody else is overrated. This draft is terrible.

Is Peterson a gamble? I don't think so. Maybe you are considering him a gamble due to the injuries in college. I think Peterson is going to be a great runningback in the NFL. He's a star in the making.

Calvin Johnson, and I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me on this one, is going to be the best player that comes out of this draft. He's big (6'4", 225), he's athletic (4.3 40-yd., 43" vert.), and he catches the ball really well. He had to play the last few seasons with one of the worst college quarterbacks in Reggie Ball and he still produced big time numbers. He reminds me of a bigger Randy Moss, with no ego. As long as he goes to a team with a decent quarterback, he'll put up big numbers and probably win Rookie of Year.

JaMarcus Russell reminds me of a bigger, not as quite athletic Daunte Culpepper. He has a huge arm and has some mobility. Unlike Quinn, he has been able to win big games, and is best when his team is down in the final minutes. Although he is erratic at times, I think the Raiders will make the right choice in picking Russell at #1. But imagine if they took Johnson #1. That would change the whole draft upside down.

In 3 years Jamarcus Russell will be 400 lbs and the laughing stock of the NFL.

perhaps you were watching an old game on ESPN Classic where MSU was somewhat respectable.
