When good players win or lose with class they will always get more votes than the players who win with a lousy attitude and no respect for the opponent. Especially when opposing coaches are voting!

Amen! I was going to wait until the three teams from the league still in things got through with the season to echo similar thoughts.

I started this thread and then sort of forgot about it. I'm surprised it generated some interest.
I think it's a given that some coaches don't like CR, HR. But since Ridge has three players on the all-star squad, they have nothing to gripe about. FM was one team I was thinking of that might have had another player or two on the list.
NBC and Ridge have very nice teams, but giving them the vast majority of the spots seems unfair to me, that's all. (Don't coaches read the papers?)
Heck, if I wanted to be an asshole, I could make an argument for two or three more Ridge players being on the team, and I'm sure there are some Panther fans who feel they were underrepresented! But as we all know, it is possible for teams with mediocre or poor records to have great players!
By the way, I'd be lying if I said I supported the behavior some of you guys are referring to. There is a certain code of conduct in bb, and when that's violated it causes hard feelings, especially with the losing teams. A significant number of CR players don't get caught up in this overenthusiasm and show their emotions with their hard play.
Finally, I've loved watching NBC teams play for many years, though despite popular belief, baseball wasn't invented there. Any Claysburger (even displaced ones like me) knows that happened on that side of the mountain!
