The point of the comment wasn't the COST of the texts, but the extreme measures to which coaches go to land recruits, such as flooding a recruit's cell phone inbox with numerous text messages or maybe...WRITING 30 HANDWRITTEN LETTERS A DAY TO A PROSPECTIVE RECRUIT.
