Not to sound like I'm beating a dead horse and/or making excuses, but the outcome of the game could very well come down to who has the better game plan....aka coaching. For example, last years game. Ridge game planned perfectly against the Bedford offense to stop Feaster and no adjustments were made by the bison coaching staff (not a big surprise there), and that inevitably led to a close game victory for the lions. Both squads will definitely be ready for the game emotionally and charged up physically, I think it will come down to who has the better scheme for the week.

Perhaps, though don't count on the braintrust for either team to come up with any great strategy before, during, or even after the game. I think it's an old-fashioned who wants it more. I have no idea if all the smack on BC about the Bisons is true, but even if it is, players can often rise above adversity. Even though they've been thumped most of the time, here's a case where the tough LH schedule could really help the Bisons. Ridge, of course, had a great defensive effort last week against a great runner. People have told me that the Lions are more of a team now than at any time during the year. I really look for a great game, especially since it seems this is the last time they'll meet until ...well, who knows?
Nice letter to the editor in today's paper from a man from Richland who praised the conduct and overall class of Bedford last week in the Richland/Bedford LH contest.

It was the same LHAC schedule last year that had everyone believing (outside of Ridge) that Bedford should have won the game. BUT, I will agree with you that it will come down to who wants it more. As was the case last year. Ridge wanted to win a whole lot worse than Bedford did. From the coaches to the players (majority, not all, BisonBlue07). It should be a good game and an even better atmosphere at Bisons Stadium Friday night.
Heck, when the two basketball teams met up last year it was pretty much the same situation. Ridge was on their way to the playoffs and Bedford had 4? wins. Bedford won that at Ridge.
It should be a decent game. I'm kind of excited to go watch the game this week. The first time that's happened this year.

Very good point on the game coming down to who wants it more...and you will get no argument from me Ham about last year. I think the basketball team had 3 wins going into that game last year...NBC, Bishop Carroll, and Tussey...I can't think of anymore, but anyhow, I am also looking forward to the game. It's been a rough year for both the fans and the players of Bedford, I hope they can pull one out to at least have a win to end the season (be the first time that would happen in FOREVER!!, lol). Does the game have any impact upon the playoffs for Ridge??
