The intent was there, for BM to get an advantage over their opponents.. And I DON'T DISLIKE bm. I just don't like unfair situations.
You neglected to mention the package deal with his sister, an outstanding all-state class volleyball athlete.

I just cant believe that you are so brainwashed that you can't admit that athletic purposes factored into this decision a little bit. I'm not saying it was the driving force, but you can't legitimately be dumb enough to believe that if a kid could choose between playing at McCort and playing at Blacklick Valley that the kid would go to Blacklick Valley...

I'm not brainwashed. I'm just not always looking for a conspiracy. We have people talking about a transfer FROM 15 YEARS AGO still for crying out loud.

Who moves his whole family because he becomes a high school wrestling coach? I hope he got a real job in town too.

Also, why would he leave central (a perennial power) to go play for a McCort team that has had no success recently. Let the kid be, he's nothing special.
Please give me a little more info on the powerhouse that Central is, didn't they choose to leave LHAC because they were a doormat? Before 2015, when was their last title? Having a great group of kids is not the same as being a perennial powerhouse
Nobody on the current team was on 2 of the last 3 district championships. It's more than "a great group of kids".

I haven't said anything about a transfer 15 years ago. I'm not looking for a conspiracy I asked you a question. Let me rephrase it so you can answer with a simple yes or no... You stated that if the kid's dad worked at Blacklick Valley you believe the kid would have gone there. Do you truly believe that if this kid or any kid was choosing between Blacklick Valley and McCort he would choose Blacklick Valley because his dad worked there?
I am willing to bet that the vast majority of us, even those with hatred for private schools would choose Bishop McCort. And although that might only play a small role in the decision, it would play a factor.

If this whole thing is "athletic intent" why not stay at the best AAA team in the district? Or why not transfer to the class A two-time defending state champion Guilfoyle? Or 4-0 AAAA Johnstown? Why pick the school with 7 wins and like 4 head coaches the past 4 seasons that's in the headlines for a lot of the wrong reasons in the past year?
It just doesn't add up as an athletic transfer when you go from a team in the state semifinals to a team that barely has won any games lately.

I could understand your point,IF he had not already spent time playing over summer as part of the BM 7 on 7 team , basically testing the waters at McCort to make sure he would be a starter
I like that you pretend that you don't think McCort has a chance to have a great season this year.
