I also saw on that facebook page they were complaining that BG had 50 kids and they had 24. "They have too many kids to be in Class A"

I looked at Farrell's roster, they have 36 kids and they are a smaller school.

Do they want to go to 8 classes?

Not sure if they can or not, but Conrad, Berrish, and Yasuilitis is a nice start to a team.

I'm sorry but you have that many athletes, let alone one of the best in the country and you can't come up with a game plan that results in even one touchdown?
I agree 100%. Two years ago they would have beat BG if they just had a kicker. You would think a lesson learned but no....still they do not even try to kick. As far as today...You have a stud D1 RB that is faster than anyone BG had and what does he do? He runs him right at the tackles (the strongest part of the BG defense). Here is a thought....maybe try to get him around the end....they did that one time all day he and he gained 20 yards...who would have thought!!
And how about as a coach you learn the rules. There is no such penalty for having 12 men in the huddle or even breaking the huddle with 12. The rule says that when a sub enters the outgoing player has 3 seconds to START to leave (not get off the field). As far as the holding...you could call a hold on darn near every play if you really wanted to. Officials are trained to call it WHEN IT AFFECTS THE PLAY. The hold they called on the Bears was a tackle right as the RB ran by...He may not like it but that is a hold...period. And no Coach Wade..every call does not go against you. How about the two borderline 15 yard penalties you got on that same drive to get you that deep?? How about the Safety on the second half kickoff that the officials gifted you the ball at the half yard line instead??? I guess you forgot about those......go figure. And when nothing else works for you then play the recruiting card,,,,yawn.

Coach Wade is the typical overgrown irresponsible punk. Blame everyone else for your shortcomings.

I'm so sick of coach wade. He needs to man up and just say "yeah we got beat fair and square the better team won today." instead he just cries and complains about how it was the penalties.

I don't think he realizes not all great teams come from the WPIAL. I swear half of them get lost in the fact football is played in the whole state.

Well first off Congratulations to BG, great season amd way to shut out Clariton. And on that note i dont know which one was a bigger embarrassment, the fight that broke out in 2014 or the interview after the game with Coach Wade in 2016...  We should make that a voting poll.

Clairton shut out by Bishop Guilfoyle, 17-0, in PIAA Class 1A championship
“I’m going to keep saying this because I’m not in the NFL. I’m not in college,” said Wayne Wade. “I can’t be fined. So I’m going to keep saying it every chance I get.”

But the PIAA does have by-laws where a coach can be penalized for criticizing game officials to the media.

“What is the penalty?” Wayne Wade said. “Whatever it is, I’ll take it.”

PIAA executive director Bob Lombardi said if the organization considers the comments “flagrant misconduct” the coach could be suspended.

“We’ll see what he said and investigate through the principal of the school,” said Lombardi.
His little tirade seemingly did violate PIAA By-Laws. Specifically on page 10 Sportsmanship and Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Section 3 Coaches, letter E:
A Coach criticizes Contest Officials through the media or to student-athletes or spectators, rather than through the appropriate review process.
PIAA By-Laws and Constitution.

Sour grapes, yes, but nothing will happen.
