North Star 2
Hyndman 1

Hyndman played a great game...terrible officiating...
Good luck to FM/McConnellsburg

Salisbury 4 Berlin 3. The game was decided by a shoot-out after 2 overtime periods could not produce a winner. Notes from the game: Salisbury had 2 goals called back one for running into the keeper and another for offsides. Berlin had a penatly kick in the 2nd overtime for a chance to win. Missed. Also scored their 1st goal on a pk. Salisbury didnt show me enough tonight to make be believe they can beat Rockwood. It did happen last year should be a great game.

Richland 0
Penns Valley 1

Ive never seen a more one sided game that we lost. We had in between 25-30 shots on goal, they had 3. We hit everything from post to crossbar to a couple balls rolling along the goaline and a PV player miraculously clearing it. It was the most unlucky game i have ever seen. With 7 minutes to go we moved everyone up and had only 2 defenders, they had a couple 4 or 5 on 2s and couldnt even get close to our box. They are bad.

Side Note:

Bishop Carrol 1
Mccort 0 OT

I am 100 percent sure BC will win the D6 Championship. If PV somehow wins i might just have to jump off the Mcnally because they are the worst (luckiest) team to be in any D6 Playoffs

From a fans perspective, and not a player, I will give my input on the Richland/PV game. First thing is first, it's just unlucky that you outshoot a team, and dominate a team to the point where the ball is in your offensive end for the whole game. PV might've had control of the ball for a total of 10 minutes the entire game, and didn't have any passing skill or anything what so ever. They kicked the ball for hope, and if they got it by the Richland defenders, the ball was being put out of bounds, or it was being taken away by a defender who would catch up to the play. Hats off to PV's keeper, he played a spectacular game. Richland hit everything except for the back of the net. They placed balls off of both posts, the crossbar a few times, and sometimes a PV defender would get his leg above his waist and prevent the ball from hitting the net. I was always told, to never let a referee decide the end of a game, but here's my input on the referee's. The lady referee, was by far the WORST referee I have ever seen in my life. She calls a foul on Richland's side, for a PV kid tripping over the ball. PV sets up the play, aims the kick far post, and caught the Richland D and the keeper off guard, for the only goal of the contest. Not only does she make a bad call that decides the game, she blows a chance for Richland to get back into the game. The ball was going towards the touchline, a Richland midfielder makes a great play saving the ball, making a cross, overtop of the defenders and the goalies open arms, and a Richland player puts the ball into the back of the net. After the ball goes into the net, the fans start celebrating, the Richland players get some life back into their sails, the ref calls the ball "Out of bounds", and waves the goal off. Toward the last 5 minutes of the game, Richland had atleast 4 corner kicks in a row, pull up every player (including the goalie), to get a goal. A richland player goes up, the goalie comes out, punches the player in the head (not anywhere near the ball), then gets on top of the player and won't let him get up (which is stupid for the goalie, b/c he is completely out of the net), as a PV defender is grabbing a Richland striker, pushing him out of the box, his arms around him completely, and the lady ref indicated "play on, its an advantage"... I don't think the lady had any idea what soccer really is, and D6 must've been desperate for a referee last night. It's a shame that the better team lost, but PV will stand no chance tomorrow night against Carrol.

bedford 4 westmont 3 in shoot out. Very even game in every aspect I was there and bedford had some nice shots while westmont could have won the game is they capitalized on goalie mistakes.
