Today's Tribune Democrat says Hawkins was recently named to a new position coordinating youth related efforts between the Johnstown School District and the community

Guess this is a paid position? And this seems rather sudden, doesn't it? Doesn't something like this have to be approved by the Johnstown School Board, or the City Council, or someone? Seemed like an awfully quick decision. Do they have to advertise for THIS position? You know, follow the protocol.

Or is he being paid by the Cambria County Child Development Corporation? I'm guessing that's the case.
