There's an old saying, "A squeaky wheel soon gets oiled". Keep moaning.

I would tend to believe that the quite moaning would not be the best course of action, but louder opposition. I mean we all know our Legislatures look at this site to see what there constituency really wants. But touche sir.

I'm simply defending myself against baseless, unprovoked attacks.Username6 wrote:No he's right guys. When you start dropping the short biographies for comparison, you've crossed the line. You both know this, so get it together.
You, and several others said that he crossed a line when he started this. Should I just continue to allow him to attack me? Would you, or anyone else on here?
I'm very proud of what I have accomplished and the things I have done. But it's NONE of his business. Has everyone on here posted what they do? No - because it's a public forum. I have my reasons for not posting it and those reasons are valid.
We're here to debate political issues, not to question someone's occupation or whatever else. Once he gets back to that, I'll drop it. Ten bucks says that he can't let it go, for whatever stupid reason he has.
Besides, he still hasn't answered what my occupation has to do with a political debate? If he can answer that reasonably, maybe I'll tell him. Maybe.

Unbelievable. No opposing views no questioning of the vision of the "chosen" one.

How Orwellian.....this is the kinda' $hit one would expect from the former Soviet Union! Think about this:
SINCE THE BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION, the leadership of the Soviet Union has used the mass media to assist in its efforts at changing and regulating society. To propagate values encouraging the construction and stabilization of the new regime, Vladimir I. Lenin, centralized political control over the mass media. He drew upon nineteenth-century Russian radical views that advocated politicizing literature and challenging tsarist government policy through artistic protest. Lenin's successors manipulated the mass media in ways that preserved and strengthened the regime and the party's supremacy.
Leaders of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) believed that strict control over mass media was essential for governing the country. "Socialist realism"--an aesthetic formula calling for the portrayal of Soviet society in a positive light to inspire its constant improvement along the lines of Marxist-Leninist ideology--was implemented under Joseph V. Stalin. The regime required the media to adhere to this formula. A vast bureaucracy, which included party and government censorship organs and official political, military, economic, and social unions and associations, together with self-censorship by writers ensured a thorough and systematic review of all information reaching the public. Under the leadership of general secretary of the CPSU Mikhail S. Gorbachev, however, Soviet mass media in the late 1980s were experiencing a loosening of the controls governing the dissemination of information. Nevertheless, the principle of party and government control over newspapers, journals, radio, television, and literature, which helped to ensure the regime's stability, remained firmly intact.

I read the articile from the Drugde Report and just shook my head. Then I thought about it and wasn't surprised. I always thought I looked good in red--I hope I don't get black listed

Apples and Oranges. Just more DailyKooks Bush Bashing. FoxNews did not do a pro Bush Infomercial but a more a behind the scenes look at what goes on in the WH. Big difference between a Foxnews documentary on W and what ABC is going to do which is tantamount to promoting the Obama Agenda on Health Care without a dissenting view. Big difference but then again those Kooks on the left don't have a clue anyway.

Re: OPM- Obama Propaganda Media 2009-2012
Last night as I slept
I dreamt I met with Behan
I shook him by the hand and we passed the time of day
When questioned on his views
On the crux of life's philosophies
He had but these few clear and simple words to say
I am going, I am going
Any which way the wind may be blowing
I am going, I am going
Where streams of whiskey are flowing
I have cursed, bled and sworn
Jumped bail and landed up in jail
Life has often tried to stretch me
But the rope always was slack
And now that I've a pile
I'll go down to the Chelsea
I'll walk in on my feet
But I'll leave there on my back
Oh the words that he spoke
Seemed the wisest of philosophies
There's nothing ever gained
By a wet thing called a tear
When the world is too dark
And I need the light inside of me
I'll go into a bar and drink
Fifteen pints of beer
