how can you say the steelers are a "cinderella" story? they are the number one ranked team in the AFC and have the best record in football. i think most steelers fans realize that the super bowl is not "locked in" but it seems as though the pats fans haven't come to that realization yet either, they have a tough game coming up against the colts. personally i'd rather be playing the jets than the colts!

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
Cinderella? Are you kidding? The Chargers are a Cinderella team, 3 losing seasons in which they had like 4 wins all year then playing 11-5 ball would be a Cinderella season. Here are the Steelers 3 previous records, and now including this one 13-3, 10-5-1, 6-10, 15-1. It's not like this team has just jumped outta nowhere. If you are going to coin Cinderella's that should be the Vikings, Stl., or even the Seahawks for winning the terrible NFC West. Pittsburgh definately is not in this category.

Hey Ham!! I believe that the Regular season is over and it does not matter what you did to get to playoffs as long as you win in the Playoffs!! Look at the Packers and Vikings!! The packers Won both times in the Regular season and then lost in the Playoffs to Vikings!! It's kinda like Your Great Bisons Going 9-0 in the regular season and then going 0-1 in the Playoffs!! So the Regular season only counts for so much!!

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Also I know its two pages back but Count asked me if I thought the Steelers loss to the Ravens had an effect. Yes i do but if you would read my post before more clearly I dont think that the loss has an effect at this point.

going 9-0 and losing to Central Cambria in the first round is not that bad. Going 7-2 in the ICC, losing to two A teams and getting drubbed by P-O in the first round on the other hand, well I'm not going to go there. All I will say is that I was just a fan and had nothing to do with the outcome of the game, what's your excuse?
The Packers won 34-31 two times this year, Minnesota scored 31 yesterday and I thought for sure that the Pack was going to win 34-31 again, but it didn't happen. Thank you for once again repeating what you have said over and over and over again. But when it comes down to it, the Steelers are still playing, and the Pack and your "hero" Brett Favre are going to be sitting home and getting ready to proclaim the "superbowl or bust" theory again. But isn't that the goal for all teams in August?
BTW, Brett Favre is the most overrated quarterback in the NFL.

Steelers are going to pull a Bedford Bison season and lose to the Jets. The Browns are going to win the super bowl.

Maddox would possibly still be the starting Q right now, that game will have an effect for many years to come in Pittsburgh...
