Who cares if Keefer took Gunner out or not. I have played against both of them and I can truthfully say Keefer sucks and I would much rather have Gunner on my team.

You know, if you were playing at Forbes Road's field, anyone could kick it into the back of the net from mid-field. I hate the 10 square feet that is there field. It sucks. No real purpose in this post really except to make fun of Forbes' field.

This goes to Nbsbbplaya do you think we like our field at Forbes?
I have been all over this state as a player when i was in my teens and as a ref in club tournaments and i can honestly say Forbes is the worst field i have ever seen.
We were promised a new field 2 years ago and according to the school it would have been in place this past fall, but they haven`t even moved any dirt or anything for the new field.
They were offered free help with the excavating but we keep getting the run around on when the new field will be built if ever.
Also, you might not have to worry about our field this fall bc they are supposed to start construction on the new high school and that will go in right on top of our current field.
So as for anyone who asks where we will be playing our home games your guess is as good as mine.
At least some field is better than none and we might have none come this fall.

I'm not saying that is the reason teams win or lose there, although it does have an effect on how you have to play the game. You guys use long throw-ins very well. That is because it is an affective way of getting the ball into the box for you. We use our smaller size and quickness to pass the ball alot. It's just all part of using your field and skills to your advantage. Sorry to here about the new high school thing though, That would suck.

if a feild has nothing to do w/ winning or losing...then where does having a home FIELD advantage come in to effect?

True gunner but in some cases home field advantage can be because of fans.

home field advantage normally isnt fans, it comes from practicing on the grass you play on, because everyone knows if your not used to playing on shorter grass then your not going to be able to judge the long balls very well and your through passes are going to get there much quicker than they would with long grass. Because i know playing at mansion park can give alot of teams trouble just because there not used to the ball bouncing that much and the pitch is much quicker than it is anywhere else around here.

Plus home field gets the home team pumped up because they want to disapoint there fans by losing at home.
