and that will occasionally happen with all districts....but some have a pattern of always getting what they need....

because that would be called recruiting, and recruiting is illegal in the PIAA and the State of Pennsylvania...

yes, but if it's allowed in Michigan, we should focus on that....

hmmm, did Dawg move to another state because Ridge wasn't meeting his needs...did he scout where he wanted to go to best meet his needs? oh, and of course, the needs of the children...

I know...I should not be so sarcastic about it...

No problem.

The truth is that before I moved my family out I did research which school district we wanted to move into. There were 10 districts within reasonable driving distance from my job. I narrowed it down and then my kids made the final choice. It has worked out well.

Since being here I have observed how the school of choice initiative works and see the value it provides. To the students, their families, and even the districts.

Beleive it or not. Not every one wants to live in an aggressively intensive competitive environment. Some people prefer the status quo. There are schools that meet their needs as well.
