Re: LHAC Standings 08
I'm wondering what he will say to the players when it comes to DEDICATION, COMMITMENT, and LOYALTY. Remeber, he didn't get the name WEASEL for nottin. :lol:Footballfan4 wrote:He seems like a nice guy..i have talked to him once or twice.

Wallpaper, I wouldn't place the blame for what is going on in Westmont on McClarin (spelling?). Everyone who knows what the truth is will tell you the parents have to carry the blame there. He didn't play who THEY thought should play, and the board is too soft or too scared (money talks)to put these parents in their place. As much talent as Westmont has, they will do nothing next year because of the coaching situation and the parents.

8) True the parents are to a great extent to blame BUT McLarin has run away from controversey in every job he's been involved with. When the HEAT is ON He gets out of the KITCHEN. I don't know how someone with that type of HISTORY can be a role model for players.coachcarter wrote:Wallpaper, I wouldn't place the blame for what is going on in Westmont on McClarin (spelling?). Richland ahead of Somerset? Come on now..Yes Somerset lost alllloott!! but if they put a line together id watch out..Defense should be tough also with Returning starters in a hard nose linebacking duo in Colt Grackzyk and Gunnar Smith, The speed on the outside linebacker Chase Dykstra, and hard hitting safety Adam Jones. And watch out for Mike Caralipo possibly playing outside linebacker, I remember him from Jr. High and that kid can hit! So dont count them out yet.

Penn Cambria will be a better than .500 team this year. Expect some new skilled faces at running back

Re: LHAC Standings 08
PC will be .500 or above.. However the reason will not be new faces at the skilled positions. The offense was mainly Newton last year anyhow, with younger kids contributing. The difference will be last years young line, developing strength and learning their assignments. If the line picks up, PC will be fun behind Newton.
The league results should be...
BM 9-2
FH 8-2
CC 7-3
PC 6-4
BG 5-5
J 5-5
W 4-6
R 3-7
BC 3-7
CH 2-8
S 1-9
B 1-9

Carroll is definitly going to win more than 3 games this year, they won more last year and they are going to get better. Im curious as to the two losses for BM...they dont play FH and if CC beats them, I dont see them losing again unless they really just dont show up mentally. Also CC wont lose 3 games, I can see them dropping the BM and FH games because they will be tough match ups, however, they should be able to finish the season better than 7-3. I see BG winning 6 games this year. I know that it is only one more than 5, but in playoffs the difference between 5-5 and 6-4 is HUGE.

just trust...When you sit soo high for so long your eventually going to drop accouple with a new era of players. I guess McCort will actually be 7-2 because they only play 9 games due to A, correct?

Yeah I think they will only have 9 games. I guess that would then make BG 5-4, I cant see them going 6-3. Does anyone know who the prefered starter is going into camp for BM?

I agree PC will be good this year, but you have to look at Matt Glenn as wide receiver. Saw him at passing camp and he and newton have a really good connection. He didn't miss a ball and his speed is amazing. I agree, we need the line to step up and give Newton time to throw. I think Fetzer will use the pass more this year.
