But I didn't say anything about them being a dynasty, i just said that they have backed it up. Didn't know you were talking about Westmont tho, they should be tough this year. Not Bedford tough, but tough. Bennett is a monster and hopefully is back 100%.

Bedford tough? they had a great year last year, but dont act like thae won states just yet, they did beat Shady Side the first time(34-32) (without Dane Johnson who is a 12 point swing) then SSA came back and blasted them 42-23, also westmont wouldve beaten them last year with a healty bennett( another 12 point swing) you really have to look at some matches before you can call a team "BEDFORD TOUGH"

I'm not saying they won states or will win states, just saying they are one of the top teams in the state for this coming year. They return everybody that matters and will wipe out any D5 or D6 team they wrestle this year without a doubt.

If we're gonna play the 'add 12 here subtract 12 there' game, Bedford was without Brett and Maust for the Westmont match last year so they werent exactly at full strength either. Besides Westmont got a fall at Bennett's weight anyway, and if he would have bumped up to 215 he probably wouldnt have pinned Shippey, maybe not even major him.

Also, now correct me if im wrong, but isn't doesn't Westmont's wrestling also include some other schools such as Fernale, CV, BM? Bedford is just Bedford. Just think if you could add Hyndman to Bedford's wrestling program over the past few years.....We would be looking at the state champs.

Thats what i said, they might have been good the las couple of years, but put them against the Dominate teams to come out of D6 the last 8 or 9 years and they dont even compare!! In fact FH is the only tema in the Laurel Highlands to ever make any noise in wrestling!! So yeah i said they were supposed to be so great the last couple of years, but have done NOTHING to back it up! Do you have a valid argument with that?? And the bad part is i hate everything about FH wrestling, Football, Baseball, or anything else for that matter!! JUST THE FACTS!

So they were not? What was their record in the LHAC each of the past two seasons? If not Westmont, then who were the best teamS from the Laurel Highlands the past two seasons? Just the facts.

Also, what are your standards for "being great"? Duals alone? Two years ago Westmont had a state 1st place finisher and a state 3rd place finisher. That sounds great to me.

Last 8 or 9 years? Why not go back 20 years and see who was dominant. Just the facts.

ur right they are two completely different subjects.... But nowhere in my post did i say they were the same, or compare them together!! What a team does against local competition is one thing, what they can do with the big teams is a whole other subject!! And Westmont has done nothing against any real credible competition the last couple years!! And yes those are the FACTS!

You have an interesting idea of "facts." The LHAC IS local competition and you referred to the LHAC when mentioning Westmont's lack of success
