It bears to be said again...the game of football teaches a lot more than the big "w" which we all love. These kids are learning about teamwork and having each other's backs which will take them far. At least they're not couch potatoes and they have to make the grade to play in a game that's important to them because their team depends upon them.

Too true. Seems like something like that always gets thrown to the wayside when teams get caught up in winning.

I am lost on this one. I don't think that anyone on here said anything about Blairsville. From what I have heard, Blairsville runs a Richland type offense and puts a lot of points on the board. However, teams have scored a ton against them. I also heard that their coach got hurt on the sideline during their last game and had surgery. Anyone confirm this?

You go into that game with that attitude, Mount Union will blow you off the field. They can throw, they choose not to. Trojans have 3 losses, one point to H-don who will be the 4th seed in the AA playoffs; a tough loss on a late fg to a spirited and tough NBC team, and 19-14 to B-A last week after leading most of the way. And remember they outgained(you could make the arguement, outplayed) all 3. If they figure out how to handle the close ones, Mount Union could turn into this years cinderella.
