Please btw...if you are going to talk up the academic acheivement of your school, use proper grammar and spelling. It makes you (McCort) look really bad.

crushers001 wrote:wow bigman you dont even know waht your talking about answer me this where would you want your kid to go a school that put 95%+ of their graduates in college with a significant amount of financial aide every year or in a school thats not even close to that
crushers001 wrote:Since people apparently dont know this if you graduate from McCort,Carroll,or Guilfoyle with a 3.5 gpa or better you can go to the Mount, St.Vincents, or St.Francis for next to nothing so im sure that has alot to do with people transferring as well
crushers001 wrote:Maybe its not 3.5 it may be more around 3.7 or 3.8 im not 100% sure quite what it is but those three schools do that idk why they do maybe because they know McCort,Carroll, and Guilfoyle are the three best schools around here academics wise and that since their not public schools the kids learn values such as respect for yourself and others and things like that you dont learn at a public school
Im not even going to go into correcting grammar. It's called a period (.) learn how to use it.

u spelled called wrong buddy.

These have to be some of the most assinine posts I have ever read on Bleachercoaches. Why in the world do you Pro-Parochial Morons keep preaching that you are so above Public schools academically? Are you insane? Do you really think kids are enrolling at Carroll, Guilfoyle, and McCort for educational intent? You got to be kidding me!

Parochial schools in our area are way behind educationally in technology and in basic areas like textbooks, etc. Also, the educators parochial schools employ are second rate. They hire teachers who didn't get hired by public schools...or....are waiting to get hired by a public school. Why would the best teachers in our area settle for a third of the pay they would garner at a public school? Because they didn't get hired at a public school!

And actually saying that graduation rates are higher at our local parochial schools....prove it! And saying that our local parochial schools bring in more scholarship money than publics, BULLCRAP! Getting aid to go to St. Francis and the Mount because their Catholic institutions isn't impressive and doesn't constitute "Scholarship" money.

Go Publics!

Wouldn't have been nice if Claysburg and Laurel Valley told D6 to stick it and forfeited their games with McCort to prove a point. That's what it will take to get the attention of the powers that be. Spouting on this board won't get you anywhere but a couple of teams collude together and say enough is enough were not playing any private school until the PIAA puts them into their own class or makes them play up to AAAA. It'll spread like wildfire. All we need is a catalyst, a spark to ignite the whole powder kegg.

????..................... ANYWAY, back to the game. i think it wont be that much of a blowout b/c mccort will put their JV in pretty early to save their starters for a much more important game next week against BA. im saying score will be 42-7 and that 7 pts being from their first string to mccorts 3rd string

Well everyone b_ _ _ _es & moans like lil girls now; quitting would be appropriate sequentially!

And you know one of the BM 16/17 yr olds pointed out insightfully in recent days: what does classification have to do with the entire yr. of league play?? Just something else for the haters to cry about!

if Laurel Valley or anyone would forfeit for being matched up against Bishop McCort...I would hope they would be thrown out of the PIAA for being the softest school ever.

And remember.....my Catholic HS Physics teacher taught me his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism, and his general theory of relativity, which extended the principle of relativity to non-uniform motion, creating a new theory of gravitation. His other instruction included relativistic cosmology, capillary action, critical opalescence, classical problems of statistical mechanics and their application to quantum theory, an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules, atomic transition probabilities, the quantum theory of a monatomic gas, thermal properties of light with low radiation density (which laid the foundation for the photon theory), a theory of radiation including stimulated emission, the conception of a unified field theory, and the geometrization of physics....I got a D!
