Well, now Pitt has prevailed over Iowa & UPS choked to the Hawkeyes; therefore I think Pitt, despite 2 losses, should jump the Nitwits in the polls! Pic ov Vman late this aft.:
And here was the ParkWay West following Pitt's huge in over Louisville

Scirrotto: All-Big Ten hype, waits to get blocked on run plays, terrible coverage on that TD, stupid penalty that kept Iowa in it.
Quarless: All he's done in 3 seasons is drop passes and he still starts over Shuler, who is way better than him as a receiver and ESPECIALLY as a blocker. Quarless missed a huge block today, too.
I wonder if the 3 stooges(carrot top,Cottoneye Joe, and Jaypa)realize there was a reason Akron and Toledo were recruiting Clark, and why Miami(fla) was recruiting Devlin? Who the hell looks at a gameplan then a weather forcast and throws 3 straight passes to open a game into the wind?Dumbazzez!!!! You deserve the toitey bowl much less the outback or rose.

They are who we thought they were. The Big 10 showed their strength. Ohio State pounds a 7-2 Big 10 team. However, ask ham, Pryor is a failure as a true freshman. Michigan pounds a 7-2 Big 10 team. PSU loses to a team that doesn't have a quarterback. Wow, what a strong conference we have here. Did they lose their BCS bid after today?

If you ask me it shows how deep the conference is. Iowa is 6-4, and all 4 of their losses are by 12 points total this year. They're a few breaks a game away from being 8-2 or better.
As I said earlier, deliverance, the Penn State teams from 2001-2007 showed up today. On both sides of the ball. Very predictable, and non-imaginative.
Penn State is still in the driver seat for the BCS Bid from the Big10. They win their next 2, they're in. They to Indiana, they're out. They lose to MSU, they're out and Ohio State gets the BCS Bid.

Do you think we can count on the three spaceballs to lose another game so it would be possible to get a pitt vs psu matchup? There would be a be a great build up by the fans before the game, although the game itself would probably lopsided.

I don't think Paterno would play Pitt, sadly. That would be a great game for the state though, on such a big stage, with national attention. Its a good story, too.
Don't worry, when Paterno retires, the rivalry will get renewed.

The only thing that matters after yesterday is, is Bobby Bowden getting closer to Paterno in total wins. Forget all that other stuff.

He looks a lot healthier. Did you see Joe's postgame conference? He was shaking so bad that it wasn't even funny. I felt bad for the guy. It's time for him to retire.
