Well now things are as they should frosty, w/ Pitt being compared to USC! And our boys suck? They have chance to go 9-3!! Admittedly, I was looking for pencils/sharp objects when we threw intercept. on 2nd down from inside 2 yd line after literally running ball down the field vs WVU.... but the Defense was awesome again & kudos to Oline (remember these guys lost Center just a couple weeks ago). UPS' best unit (and definitely one of the best in country) is their Oline...take Shipley (aka Robin Hood) out, scramble players around a bit & see what happens. Finally, despite a pedestrian college qb & shaky offensive calls, @ times this yr, Pitt has w's over Iowa (a UPS fav), at Syracuse (who upended national powerhouse ND), at (giant killers) South Florida, at Navy, at Notre Dame (remember last time U went there?), Louisville & West Virginia.

Oh how we forget that 3 of the 4 losses Oregon State had were to ranked opponents. And 2 of those losses were to top 10 teams on the road!

Had Oregon State won yesterday, they would have won the Pac10. Who did Pitt play OOC that had that much cred?

When was the last time ND was a National Power?!? You're ridiculous. Louisville sucks and WVU lost to Eastern Carolina and should have lost to I-AA VILLANOVA!

How about we look at this. Pitt lost on the road to Cincinnati. Lost at home to Rutgers and BOWLING GREEN.

Penn State had some cupcakes on their schedule, but at least they managed to beat them. Their one loss came on a last second field goal on the road in horrible weather conditions. Penn State won the Big10 and Pitt can't win it's own 8 team conference.

For all this "Pitt's defense stepped up" stuff, I sure must have seen a different game. I saw Pat White march his team into Pitt territory on about 3 pass plays, then that idiot stayed in bounds. Also on that drive, pat White threw 2-3 passes that should have been caught, since the WRs were open. Now, I dont recall if there was pressure on the QB, so you make your own judgement if those throws were b/c of the defense or because he over shot his targets.

Had they won???....biggest game for them in yrs & they were @ Corvallis (home) & lost to the Ducks 95 - 38!!
