you missed the entire point of the post...the point was that any A school in the westpac or D5 could beat any A team and some AA teams in the LHAC or D6 so it speaks negative volumes about your perspective on high school basketball to so arrogantly (and incorrectly) say that the westpac is weak and worthless in basketball

I know CC isn't AAA and I'm pretty sure Blairsville isn't either. Besides that tourament was only middle of the road LHAC basketball at best. CC (or should I say the Jordan Miller Show) beat CT by about 20 i think with 4 starters who have never seen varsity minutes before. Also PC has nothing special either. Dziabo and their PG are quality players, but the panthers will be lucky to finish 3rd in section 1.
Also Richland I think was the worst team in the league, that wasn't really an accomplishment beating them. Also BC was a .500 team in the LHAC and won D6 so I think that speaks for itself.
Sorry..i meant AA, must've hit the A a third time on accident. Anyway..that wasnt the point
they lost to blairsville by 3 and the CC box score wentlike this:
Central Cambria 16 17 14 16
Conemaugh TWP 12 11 12 9
CT had two bad quarters in which they could not stop Miller and were outscored by more than 4 points....thats a decent game
sure they lost by 19..but like i said..it CC, for one, and they are AA for two
so shut ya mouth about the "lowly" westpac

Everything you said here was shutting down the Westpac completely. Congratulations.
LHAC > WESTPAC

Any A school in the Westpac could beat any A team in the LHAC? I really don't see Blacklick or Myersdale touching BG.
I agree that some years there are Westpac teams that would could compete with the top of the LHAC. I'm saying that the majority of the years this isn't the case and that beating Richland or hanging with BC doesn't prove anything. Thats one isolated incident.

Well, finally we've hit basketball season. Looks like the beginning of the regular season had some nice matchups (as well as some not-so-nice matchups) some upsets and some gimmes. Hey CTindian00, looked around the bleachers to see if I could pick ya out in the stands, but I'm not thinking. Anyway, its a long season (NO, it's really, not long enough) and it'll be fun watching it unfold.

as an "EX" westpac basketball player i can say that the westpac is not far behind in basketball from lhac, but the lhac is much faster

Shade beat Central Cambria in the first round of the mountain cat tourney by 30 and held Jordan Miller to only 11 pts! so that is just one example that the westpac can in fact play with the LHAC! Central Cambria is AA and Shade is A

It really seems as though the LHAC isnt all what theyre bragged up to be, Shade,a west pac team, had a run away victory againt central cambria, an lhac team, friday night at upj. shade dominated the game in all aspects. it surely didnt seem like central cambria shouldve been favored going into the matchup. they(central cambria) were absolutely embarressed in front of everyone watching.
mike abromawhich is the best player in the west pac without a doubt.
